HONEYLAND – ★★★★ – Incredibly filmed Macedonian documentary about a woman leading a simple rural life, keeping bees to support herself and her 85 year old mother. The arrival of new neighbours demonstrates the lack of foresight the modern world seems to have.

Day one of the Melbourne International Film Festival 2019! Very excited to see what where I will be transported to this year. #MIFF2019

Barely had time to look at the program, but already some exciting changes for MIFF 2019 this year:

  • No Comedy Theatre! 🎉
  • The Capitol Theatre is back! Can’t wait to see it again
  • It looks like the MIFF lounge is *not* at The Forum but is now called the Salon and will be at the Capitol too. ❤️
