DAFFODILS – ★★★ – I’m not really into musicals, so admittedly not the target audience for this NZ tale. Wasn’t terrible, but my main issue was that I questioned several of the plot points. #MIFF2019
MACHINE – ★★★★ – excellent documentary that will sadly be ignored by the population that needs to watch it the most. AI is coming. How will humanity prepare? #MIFF2019

Sitting at Hoyts waiting for my next #MIFF2019 film and it’s wonderful to see this #starwars trailer on the giant screen with the volume cranked. Can’t wait for December! 
JOURNEY TO A MOTHER’S ROOM – ★★★★ – Really charming Spanish film about the relationship between a widowed mother and her daughter who’s about to leave home. Wonderfully expressed relationship. Must call my Mom. #MIFF2019
