Sitting at Hoyts waiting for my next #MIFF2019 film and it’s wonderful to see this #starwars trailer on the giant screen with the volume cranked. Can’t wait for December!

JOURNEY TO A MOTHER’S ROOM – ★★★★ – Really charming Spanish film about the relationship between a widowed mother and her daughter who’s about to leave home. Wonderfully expressed relationship. Must call my Mom. #MIFF2019

GREENER GRASS – ★★★★☆ – Hilarious film shot in ultra vivid colour with a message about modern life and its ridiculous pitfalls, all wrapped in deep satirical humour. Loved it!

I LOST MY BODY – ★★★★ – Incredible French animation about a hand trying to find its owner’s body, and acting as a sort of guardian angel along the way. Really cleverly done, interspersed with flashbacks to build the story. #MIFF2019
