FIRST REFORMED – ★★★☆ – Ethan Hawke is great in this film by Paul Schrader, about a minister dealing with his past demons, while trying to assist his small clergy with theirs. Amanda Seyfried (Twin Peaks 2017) also top notch. Ending was a little unpredictable, but not in a bad way. #MIFF2018
